Barbaric Records – LIVE | Visual package

I was tasked with designing a visual pack for Barbaric Records LIVE, a collective of uptempo hardcore artists from the Netherlands aiming to leave a bold visual mark at their Reverze 2025 performance. The brief called for a visual package that doesn’t take itself too seriously – they described it as ‘pleasantly insane’ (or ‘prettig gestoord’ in Dutch). At the same time, it had to reflect the label’s brand identity, which carries a much more serious tone. I blended these contrasting vibes into a cartoony style, featuring wild creatures grooving to the beat, barbaric touches like skulls and axes, and, of course, plenty of flames.

The project included a series of logo animations synced to a pounding 150 bpm, alongside loopable animations for VJs to weave into the live performances.
